Welcome
For people who'd rather be dangerous than tidy.
This newsletter is about operating on the AI frontier as a builder in technology — and why that frontier is the safer place to stand, not the riskier one.
The conventional path through tech tells you to specialize, pick a lane, and wait for the playbook before you move. I’ve followed enough of that advice to know it doesn’t work the way it’s sold, and AI is now widening the gap between the people staying on that path and the people building outside it. That gap is the subject. What I’m writing about is what it actually looks like to operate on the right side of it — across product, engineering, design, ops, marketing, and your own drive — without waiting for permission.
This is for technical people who feel that gap. Generalists who’ve been told to specialize. Specialists who suspect the advice was wrong. Builders who’d rather move and learn than wait for the instructions. People who’d rather be dangerous than tidy.
You’ll get a new essay roughly once a week, plus shorter takes on Notes between them. Not tutorials, not 10 ways to use ChatGPT — the actual argument, worked out in public, with whatever I’m building and learning as the evidence.
If any of this has resonated, subscribe. We’ll see where it goes.
